Visualizing Your Experience

In the beginning of this journey , I was not sure whether I would be able to complete this fellowship or not as I was finding it difficult to wake up on weekends and take almost two and a half hour long sessions because every time I sit in front of my laptop for this long I feel a headache.

In the second week we were given a task of completing an online course and in that course I learnt the importance of WHY. That was the moment when I asked myself why are you running away from discovering yourself.. JUST WHY?

I literally found my answer. I was afraid that maybe when I would discover myself, I would realize that I have made mistakes regarding my career choice , regarding my passion, regarding my goals. Maybe I was scared to face that reality. But soon the AMAL fellowship made me realize that

“It is never too late to correct our mistakes. And if we do not, we risk repeating them.”

Through that course I learnt that answering your WHY helps you to identify your interests, your goals, your passion. Knowing your WHY actually helps you to answer WHAT YOU WANT?

And

I don’t know whether I will be able to get what I want or not but at least I am satisfied that now I know what I actually want.

So, Since that day I decided to start writing a diary that would contain my WHYs.

I was not a “writes a diary” type of person. But since the day I started writing I feel relaxed. I feel like I have found a way to find my curiosity. I not only write my WHYs in this diary but also write down my thoughts that disturbed me . I feel like I am talking to someone and that someone is listening to me with full concentration and this feeling really helps me to compose myself.

So basically AMAL fellowship gave me a chance to know myself better. It has given me a chance to find answers for my curiosities. It helped me to identify what I actually want to do and why I want to do that. At least now I know my interests. At least I know what actually gives me peace. I know what I actually love to do .

I won’t say that I have found answers for all my WHYs but now I know how to find them.

I know I am still confused about certain things but I hope someday I will be able to clear all these confusions.
